The °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ¹ÙÍøCentral School District has named its 2024 Torch Award recipients!
The Torch Award is presented to °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ¹ÙÍøteachers who have significantly contributed to the growth and professional development of their teacher colleagues. The teachers gathered Wednesday at St. °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Elementary School for an awards presentation and Superintendent Dr. Mark Secaur lauded them for their achievements.
Laura Spencer, President of the °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ¹ÙÍøTeachers' Association, also praised the honorees, saying, “I don’t think there’s a better honor to have.”
The 2024 Torch Award recipients are:
Joanne Figueiredo, Kathleen Frevele, Dr. Patricia Gallery, Christina Giangrandi,Robyn Koch, Christina Kolahifar, Jennifer Macomber and Austin Portente.
