Students, teachers and staff were all in the holiday spirit thanks to the Nesaquake Middle School °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø. Everyone in school was treated to a "NesCafe" hot cocoa bar, so they could enjoy hot chocolate with a variety of topping choices.
Additionally, the °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø treated teachers, security guards, lunch aids, etc. to a "Wonka" holiday experience!
According to Nesaquake °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø President Claudia Pira, "I reached out to the community and the response was overwhelming. We asked for $1 to $10 items to include in the wonka bars…We have 100 staff members and we were able to collect 100 items, including five golden ticket items that are valued at a higher price!"
Nesaquake recently received the New York State °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Super Teacher/Staff Membership Award for 2023-2024. This award is given to units in good standing that have more than 75% of school employees as °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø members.
